Junior Team Tennis
It’s always fun being part of a team, and USTA Junior Team Tennis brings together kids on level-based teams at local parks, public and private clubs, and community organizations to compete in leagues throughout Southern California. Find a Team
Junior Team Tennis leagues are geographically based throughout the Section. To find a team, please contact your local Junior Team Tennis area league coordinator. For general information about Junior Team Tennis, please contact JTT@scta.usta.com.
Junior Team Tennis Section Championships take place twice a year, with the Fall Championships taking place in January in the Coachella Valley, and the Spring Championships taking place in late Spring at alternating sites. The Section Championships bring together qualifying division-winning teams from local leagues throughout Southern California.
The Section Championships are among the largest SoCal junior tennis events of each year, with more than five hundred participants. Players enjoy match play in a fun, competitive environment that also includes social events and a celebration of the tournament’s high level of sportsmanship. See this page throughout the year for updates on the Fall and Spring Championships as the tournaments approach!
Competition Training Centers
Competition Training Centers (CTC) bring together the top 20-24 players from each geographic area to develop their skills at a high level and compete among their most talented peers. Players gain beneficial exposure to fitness training, education, and sports science while practicing and competing with other CTC programs. The season takes place between March and June, culminating with a CTC Team Cup competition.
